Join Our Fundraising Contest!
We want to start the new school year with a HUGE event so join our fundraising contest and help out a good cause, while putting yourself up for the chance to win great prizes! Every ticket sold counts and we appreciate and reward that.
This is how it works:You can sign up on our website as an individual or an organization (one of the board members would have to sign up the organization) to sell tickets. The way that we keep track of how many tickets you have sold is by giving you a promotional code. Once you submit your information on the website, you will receive a code that is unique to your name or the name of your organization. You have to give this code to everyone to whom you sell tickets. They will need to enter the code when making the PayPal transaction. We will send you an email for every 10 people who buy tickets with your promotional code, to let you keep track of how many people you have been able to bring.
- Sell 1-5 tickets and you’ll receive: 10% off all future event tickets organized by our organization (*including our winter Comedy Benefit Show at the Irvine Improv) and a Fashion for Lupus bracelet.
- Sell 6-10 tickets: 50% off future events*, a Fashion for Lupus bracelet, a raffle ticket (**the tickets and prizes of the raffle will be distributed during the show, so the person has to be attending the event to receive this) at the show.
- Sell 11-15 tickets: Free admission to future events,* a Fashion for Lupus bracelet, a raffle ticket* *and a a signed Counterclockwise album.
- Sell 16 or more tickets: Free admission to future events*, a Fashion for Lupus bracelet, a raffle ticket**, a signed Counterclockwise album, and a designer t-shirt from PERSIS (www.persisshop.com). We will also give you 5 extra “red” section tickets (our best seats!) to our show.
On top of this promotional sales, when you sign up as an individual or organization to sell tickets, you will be competing against other individuals or organizations (two different categories) for the following prizes:
The individual who sells the most number of tickets will receive all of the above prizes as well as a gift certificate from Starbucks and 5 free tickets to our Comedy Benefit Show this winter. This individual will publicly thanked and presented with a certificate of “honorable community service” at the Fashion for Lupus event.
For the organization that sells the most number of tickets we offer year round advertisement on our website as well as any coming events materials. We will also offer every member of that organization a free signed Counterclockwise album, a free Fashion for Lupus wristband, a free ticket to this winter's Comedy Benefit Show at the Irvine Improv, and 50% off of any ticket for all AAA events of the 2009-2010 academic year as well as Fashion for Lupus 2010. We will also thank the organization publicly at the Fashion for Lupus event, while presenting a representative with a certificate of “honorable community service” in the name of the organization. We love working with other organizations on and off campus, so this can mark the start of a great collaborative effort toward raising awareness and understanding for autoimmune diseases!
