Hi all,
I apologize for having to cancel so late, but I'm sick and will not be able to put this on tonight. I thought I would get better, but I'm still not feeling too well.
Kyle Good, our videographer, will have the fashion show video ready in a few weeks, so we will have a "viewing party" for that instead of the random movie tonight.
Saiid Zargham, our staff photographer, will have the photos ready by this weekend and we will view those this Wednesday (10/14/09) 6:30-7:30pm at our 2nd general meeting of the quarter.
Thanks so much,
Tandis Soltani

Anteaters Against Autoimmunity is dedicated to raising understanding and funding for autoimmune diseases. So many lives are personally affected by autoimmune diseases that we felt it necessary to form an organization to spread the word about how to live with, and to support those who are struggling with what is often a lifelong challenge. Our student-run organization is based at the University of California, Irvine; we are comprised of student volunteers and community members who feel the need to take action.
Our organization will be hosting a Fashion Show on the 3rd of October to raise money and awareness for Lupus, a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by painful inflammation of the joints, skin, and other organs, affecting approximately 2 million people in the United States. The show will be in the Pacific Ballroom of the UCIrvine Student Center 7-9pm.
With your support and generosity, we hope to bring our annual Fashion for Lupus and Other Autoimmune Diseases event to reality once again. We appreciate any support you are willing to give. Know that you are benefiting a worthy cause and that people will be helped by your actions. Please join as a member on this site by clicking here. Also, join us on facebook by clicking here.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at lupus.fighter@yahoo.com.
In deepest appreciation
and on behalf of the members of Anteaters Against Autoimmunity,
